DMCA and copyright policy

How to report content you own the rights to, what a valid notice must contain, and how we respond.

Our position

Voco IPTV is a service provider. We do not produce, own, edit or host the programming that passes across the service, and we do not upload content ourselves. Where a rights holder identifies material they control, we act on a properly made notice.

We take repeat infringement seriously and will terminate access for users found to be misusing the service in that way.

Sending a notice

Send notices to help@vocoiptv.tv with "DMCA notice" in the subject line. To be actionable, a notice needs all of the following:

  • Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address
  • Identification of the specific work you say is infringed
  • Identification of the material complained of, precise enough for us to locate it — a channel name or title, and where it appears
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Notices missing these elements cannot be acted on, and we will say so rather than leave you waiting.

What we do next

Valid notices are reviewed promptly and the material identified is removed or access to it disabled. We keep a record of notices received and of the action taken on each.

Counter-notices

If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address. It should identify the material and where it was, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed in error, and give your name, address, telephone number and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Misuse of this process

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or a counter-notice carries liability under the law, including for damages and costs. Please be certain of your rights in the work before sending either.
