The app side of Voco IPTV
There is no proprietary box and no locked-down client. Voco IPTV is a standard Xtream-style line, so you choose the player you like best and point it at your login.
Why an open player instead of our own app
A provider-specific app sounds tidier until the day it stops being updated, or the day you buy a television it was never built for. Using the established players means the software is maintained by people whose only job is the player, and it means your subscription is not hostage to one company's release schedule.
It also means you can change your mind. If you dislike the interface of one app you install another, put the same three credentials in, and everything is exactly where you left it — because the account lives on our servers, not in the app.
- Your login is a username, a password and a server address — nothing else
- The same three details work in every compatible player, on every device
- Installing on a new device does not need anything from us
- Changing player does not affect your subscription or its expiry date
Three that we know behave
Any Xtream-compatible player will work. These are the ones our support inbox sees the fewest problems with.
IPTV Smarters Pro
The usual first choice, and the one the setup guide follows. It runs on Firestick, Android, Android TV, iOS, Windows and macOS, takes the login as a single "Xtream Codes API" entry, and has the least fiddly first-run of the three.
TiviMate
Android and Android TV only, and the better option if you care about the programme guide. The channel grid, recording and multi-view are stronger; some of that sits behind the app's own premium upgrade, which is separate from your Voco IPTV plan.
XCIPTV
A solid middle ground on Android and Fire OS, with a straightforward layout and reliable catch-up handling. Worth trying if Smarters feels cluttered and TiviMate feels like too much.
These players are made by third parties and are not owned by or affiliated with Voco IPTV. Install them from the app store on your device, or from the developer's own site. Any charge inside those apps is theirs, not ours.
Turning a login into a channel list
Install the player
From the Amazon Appstore on a Firestick, the Play Store on Android, or the App Store on iOS. On a Firestick you may need the Downloader app first — the setup guide covers that route.
Choose "Xtream Codes API"
Not the M3U option. Then type the username, password and server URL from your email exactly as written, including the http prefix and the port number if one is given.
Wait for the first sync
The player downloads the channel list and the guide once, which can take a couple of minutes on a Firestick. Every launch after that opens straight into the grid.
